I'm Satwinder Singh. I build BankStatementHub, a tool that turns PDF bank statements into spreadsheets and accounting files.

Building it means reading a lot of bank statements and import files, and seeing the same problems again and again: a row that's missing, a sign that's flipped, a month nobody noticed was gone. These notes write down what I've learned, in a form that's useful whether or not you use my tool.
